A warm welcome to NOVI Resort Visby – a modern seaside resort experience. Here you’ll find practical information to help you prepare for and enjoy your stay:
🕓 Check-In & Check-Out
• Check-in: From 3:00 PM
• Check-out: No later than 11:00 AM
Arriving late? Please let us know in advance, and we’ll send you instructions for checking in after the reception has closed.
🎟️ NEW – The NOVI Wristband
To make your stay even smoother and more relaxed, we’re introducing the NOVI wristband this year.
Upon check-in, you’ll receive a black and white wristband to wear throughout your stay. This is your personal key to various facilities and events at NOVI:
✔️ Access to the pool area & pool towels
✔️ Quick and easy breakfast check-in – just show your wristband
✔️ Entry and discounts to selected events and happenings at NOVI
A small band – but greater freedom and better service all throughout your stay.
❄️ Air Conditioning
• All hotel rooms have AC
• Some Bungalows and Bungalow Studios have AC – but not all; this cannot be guaranteed at the time of booking
• Please note: Some terraces have awnings, but these are not in use
🅿️ Parking
• Onsite parking is available via the Parkster app
• Fee: 100 SEK/day – easiest to pay via the app
• Important: There are two different parking zones – please double-check your zone to avoid fines

🚭 Smoking
• The entire hotel is non-smoking
• Smoking is only permitted in the designated area near the parking lot
• Smoking indoors will incur a cleaning fee from 8,000 SEK
🐾 Pets
• A limited number of Bungalows allow pets – this must be booked and confirmed in advance
• Bringing pets without prior approval may result in denied check-in
• Unauthorized pets will result in a cleaning fee from 5,000 SEK
🏋️ Gym & Fitness
• Indoor gym located on floor 2 with treadmill, cross-trainer, and free weights
• Open daily from 07:00 to 21:00
• An outdoor gym is located by the sea – perfect for fresh-air workouts
🧹 Housekeeping
• Light daily housekeeping is included: bed-making, trash removal, bathroom refresh, and towel replacement if needed
• Dishwashing is not included – guests are expected to wash their own dishes
🚲 Bike Rentals
• We offer bike rentals based on availability
• Only available for registered NOVI guests
• Price: 200 SEK per bike/day
👶 Age Requirements
• All guests in a party without a legal guardian must be over 18 years of age
🏊♀️ Pool
• The pool is heated to approx. 25°C and is 1.55 m deep
• Open from May 1 to September 30
• Pool towels are included for resort guests
• Opening hours:
– Low season: 09:00–16:00
– High season: until 20:00 (weather permitting)
♿ Accessibility
• Our hotel rooms are not fully accessibility-adapted
• Some units are better suited – contact us for assistance and recommendations
🏠 About the Accommodation
NOVI Resort is a housing cooperative, meaning each unit is owned by a private individual. While all units are rented out through us, they may vary in style, furnishings, and equipment depending on the owner.
❌ Cancellation & Modification Policy
• For cancellations/changes made 28 days or more before arrival:
– 10% of the total booking amount is charged (booking fee)
• For cancellations/changes made less than 28 days before arrival:
– 100% of the total booking amount is charged
Illness with medical certificate, cancelled travel plans, etc.:
NOVI does not provide cancellation insurance. However, many credit/debit cards include travel insurance – please contact your card provider for more information.
